Diyala Felony Court Sentences Justice Enforcement Officer and Employee to Three Years for Bribery

The judiciary's media office explained in a statement that the convicts took sums of money from a citizen in exchange for returning ownership papers of a vehicle linked to one of the enforcement files within the department, noting that the verdict was issued pursuant to Article 307 of the Penal Code amended by Resolution No. 160/I of 1983, and in light of complicity articles 47, 48 and 49 of the law.
