The Ministry of Defense announced the arrival of a high-ranking military delegation, led by the Army Chief of Staff, in Karbala Governorate for direct supervision and field follow-up of the security plan dedicated to securing the million-strong pilgrimage. The visit included intensive meetings with local and security leaders in the governorate to ensure high coordination, provide maximum protection, and facilitate the movement of pilgrims during the observance of the religious ceremonies.
