In a separate operation, an employee in the Political Prisoners Department at the National Retirement Authority was caught red-handed accepting two million Iraqi dinars after extorting a female applicant for releasing her accumulated financial dues; a Mastercard belonging to the citizen was found in his possession. Both defendants were referred to the judge of the Rusafa Investigation Court specialized in integrity cases, who ordered their detention in accordance with the provisions of Decision 160 of 1983 as amended.
