The Federal Integrity Commission has issued a warning against extortion attempts carried out by individuals impersonating its officers to exploit anti-corruption campaigns. The Commission clarified in an official statement that all its operations targeting the preservation of public funds are executed strictly within legal frameworks and under official judicial warrants in coordination with the judiciary.

Official institutions, investors, and the general public are urged to verify the identities of anyone claiming affiliation with the Commission and to report any suspicious activities through the toll-free hotline (154) to ensure prompt legal action and the arrest of perpetrators.
