dijlahpoint - The Intelligence and Security Directorate announced on Wednesday the arrest of a Pakistani national who stole 18 million Iraqi dinars from a gas station in Karbala province.

According to a statement by the directorate, field intelligence units in Karbala managed to apprehend the suspect, noting that 14 million dinars were seized in his possession, while it was revealed that he had transferred 4 million dinars to Pakistan.

The directorate added that legal procedures were taken against the suspect, in preparation for referring him to the competent judicial authorities.
