Relevant authorities announced a comprehensive service plan that includes the establishment of a joint operations room to ensure a stable power supply between the capital, Baghdad, and the holy province of Karbala during the month of Muharram. The plan involves deploying immediate maintenance units along pilgrim routes and preparing the government transport fleet, while exempting targeted areas from scheduled power outages. Simultaneously, a widespread campaign was launched to remove illegal connections from the national grid, aiming to reduce energy losses, improve supply efficiency, and prevent sudden blackouts.
