Competent judicial authorities have issued a severe five-year prison sentence against the director of the property department in a municipality within Dhi Qar Governorate, along with his wife, who works in the same department. This judicial ruling comes after their conviction on charges related to illicit enrichment and the illegal accumulation of wealth, based on the provisions of the Commission of Integrity laws and the Iraqi Penal Code.
