The Middle Euphrates Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces announced the launch of extensive military operations named "Imposing Sovereignty" in the Najaf and Karbala desert through four axes.
The Commission stated that the Commander of the Middle Euphrates Operations in the Popular Mobilization Forces, Major General Ali Al-Hamdani, announced the launch of the Imposing Sovereignty operations in the Najaf and Karbala desert through four axes, with the aim of securing the road linking Karbala and the Nukhayb area, noting that the operation is being implemented under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and under the supervision of the Chief of Staff of the Army, First Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah.
Al-Hamdani explained that the operation axes include the Middle Euphrates Operations Command, the Karbala Holy Operations Command, and the Anbar Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces, in addition to the Second Brigade in the Mobilization, noting that the participating forces are carrying out inspection and sweeping operations to a depth of seventy kilometers, according to solid military plans and with a high level of professionalism.
