The Martyrs Foundation affirmed on Friday its full support for the measures taken by the Federal Commission of Integrity to begin auditing retirees' files and cross-referencing data. The Foundation highlighted the importance of this step in protecting public funds and ensuring that rights reach their rightful beneficiaries. The Head of the Foundation, Abdul Ilah Al-Naili, praised the regulatory efforts aimed at uncovering manipulation and forgery in the files of martyrs and victims of terrorism, stressing that the rights of martyrs' families are a national and legal trust requiring the highest degrees of transparency. He added that the Foundation continues its fruitful cooperation with the Integrity Commission, the National Pension Directorate, the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, and security agencies to electronically match and correct data, aiming to close all avenues of corruption. He emphasized that these measures are intended to protect true beneficiaries without compromising their rights. It is noteworthy that the Integrity Commission recently formed a specialized task force to audit the Martyrs Foundation's files in several provinces, including Baghdad, Anbar, and Basra.
