Military Intelligence announced the seizure of large quantities of narcotic pills in the Anbar desert that were prepared for smuggling and distribution, as part of a qualitative security operation carried out before they reached the distribution stage. The directorate explained that the operation came based on accurate intelligence information and continuous follow-up, where units managed to seize more than eighty-one thousand narcotic pills found in a desert area along with a tracking device that was used to secure the transport and smuggling operation. It added that the seized materials were dealt with according to legal procedures and applicable regulations.
