The Ministry of Transport announced the continuation of reverse dispatch operations for pilgrims from the holy province of Karbala following the conclusion of the Ashura ceremonies, confirming the mobilization of all its resources to ensure their safe return to Baghdad and other provinces. The Ministry explained that its comprehensive plan included the deployment of 250 buses, distributed as 100 buses on the Baghdad axis and 150 on the Karbala axis, marking a 25% increase compared to previous years to accommodate the growing numbers. It noted that the transport movement is proceeding smoothly, affirming that operations will continue around the clock until all pilgrims are safely transported.
