The National Security Service announced on Friday the execution of a specialized operation that resulted in the apprehension of two drug dealers in the capital, Baghdad, as part of ongoing efforts to combat this illicit trade. In an official statement, the Service explained that the operation was carried out based on precise intelligence, intensive field surveillance, and judicial warrants, leading to the suspects' capture in a tightly executed ambush. The raid resulted in the seizure of quantities of crystal meth, alongside firearms and cash found in their possession. The suspects and the confiscated items have been referred to the competent judicial authorities for further legal action.
