Medical sources reported the death of an elderly man and injuries to 16 others, including a former officer, a civil servant, women, and children, following a series of traffic accidents in the provinces of Anbar, Diyala, Baghdad, Dhi Qar, and Muthanna. Sources confirmed that four of the injured were transported to emergency wards in critical condition. Authorities attributed the primary causes of these accidents to excessive speeding and improper overtaking on the roads.
