He explained that the irregularities involved the disbursement of over 1.4 billion Iraqi dinars to purchase drinking water. He noted that the Federal Board of Supreme Audit's report confirmed this amount was spent within a short period under the pretext of supplying water to energy police detachments. He added that the report highlighted the expenditures were made outside financial and administrative authorities without official approvals, using fake receipts, as the water was obtained for free from within the department's site and distributed using government vehicles without taking strict legal measures.
