Security forces in Babil Governorate have successfully dismantled an organized criminal network specializing in trafficking counterfeit foreign currency, specifically known as the "black dollar." This qualitative operation followed a well-planned ambush and precise luring of the network's members, who had come from another governorate. The operation resulted in the red-handed arrest of the suspects and the seizure of large quantities of paper bundles coated with unknown substances intended for fraud, as well as the confiscation of forged banknotes. The arrested individuals and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures against them.
