Dijlah Point - The parliamentary "Reconstruction and Development" bloc held an extensive meeting with the Ministry of Oil to discuss ways to support the oil sector, overcome derivative shortages, and boost production and export capacities. The parliamentary delegation praised the significant progress achieved by the ministry after export rates surpassed the three-million-barrel-per-day mark, in addition to swift measures taken to secure strategic fuel reserves and prevent future crises. For its part, the ministry confirmed its success in achieving record export volumes over the past month despite regional tensions. It highlighted the signing of strategic oil transport contracts and ongoing efforts to attract investment companies to support the national economy, which is heavily reliant on oil revenues.
