The Ministry of Interior announced that its specialized anti-crime detachments successfully apprehended a female fugitive wanted for murder in the Rusafa side of the capital, Baghdad. The Ministry explained that the security operation was carried out based on rigorous field surveillance and continuous intelligence gathering, which led to pinpointing the suspect's exact location. She has been remanded in custody pending the necessary legal proceedings and presentation to the judiciary in accordance with the applicable penal code.
