Dijlah Point - The Supreme Judicial Council has directed competent investigative courts to take strict legal action against those who encroach upon public roads and spaces designated for public utility. This directive was issued during an official session that also included the approval of new judicial formations and the promotion of several judges. The council reviewed municipal reports regarding encroachments, emphasizing the strict application of the Public Roads Law and the Iraqi Penal Code against violators. Furthermore, the council stressed the need for intensified legal penalties against anyone who assaults engineering and service personnel while they are executing and rehabilitating public projects.
