Authorities organizing Husseini processions in Diyala Governorate announced the entry of more than 50,000 foreign pilgrims through the Al-Munthiriya border crossing over the past 24 hours to participate in the Arbaeen pilgrimage ceremonies. Sources confirmed that the crossing is currently experiencing peak pilgrim influx, which is expected to continue for several days before the reverse dispatch begins. To ensure the success of the pilgrimage, dozens of service processions have been deployed along the road connecting Al-Munthiriya and Baqubah down to the capital, Baghdad, amidst high-level security and service coordination with security forces to protect pilgrims and provide for their needs.
