The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced the arrest of one of the most prominent suspects wanted for drug trafficking in Maysan Governorate. In an official statement, the Directorate reported that the security operation, based on precise intelligence, led to the capture of the suspect, described as the mastermind behind smuggling and distribution networks. The suspect is wanted in over 15 cases. The arrest was executed in coordination with Rapid Response forces in a remote area where he was hiding with his brother, resulting in the confiscation of narcotics and weapons.
