Directorate officials clarified that although proposals have been submitted to amend the traffic law to allow specific tinting limits, no official approvals have been granted to date. The Directorate emphasized that penalties for violators include the immediate removal of the tint and the imposition of hefty financial fines. Regarding the Kurdistan Region, the Directorate noted that the region operates under local traffic laws that permit tinting subject to specific regulations and fees, expressing full respect for the region's localized legislation.
