Security
Security commands in the capital, Baghdad, announced the closure of the "Ya Hussein" road, stretching from the bridges intersection to the Baghdad arches. This coincides with maintenance and preparation efforts to accommodate religious processions and the massive crowds of pilgrims heading to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The new organizational measures include diverting heavy freight vehicles to the western entrance of the capital instead of the southern one, while smaller vehicles have been redirected to alternative designated highways. These steps aim to ensure a smooth traffic flow and the safety of the pilgrims.
