dijlahpoint - The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed the mechanism for calculating the price of a barrel of oil in Iraq's 2027 budget, amid ongoing regional tensions. Committee member Jamal Kojar explained that the current disruptions are temporary, and the budget is prepared for a full year; thus, prices are determined by global market studies rather than emergency circumstances. He noted that Iraq is expected to estimate the price between $53 and $56, with a possibility of setting it between $60 and $70 based on national oil marketing readings and global demand.
