dijlahpoint - The General Authority for Meteorology announced that the country will be affected by a state of atmospheric instability starting gradually and continuing for several days, with varying chances of rainfall across the country's regions.
The Weather Forecasting Department explained in an official statement that rain chances will begin in the western regions and Al-Anbar Governorate before extending to the central regions and expanding to include the rest of the cities, expecting light to moderate rain showers interspersed with heavy downpours in some areas accompanied by lightning and thunder.
The authority added that the weather conditions may be accompanied by downdraft winds associated with thunderstorm clouds in some areas, which may lead to dust-raising and a temporary decline in horizontal visibility, urging citizens to exercise caution and stay away from valleys and depressions.
