dijlahpoint - The Federal Integrity Commission announced the arrest of an Interior Ministry employee in Anbar province red-handed while receiving a bribe from a citizen.

According to an official statement, a team from the Anbar Investigation Office executed the operation under a judicial warrant after the suspect extorted the citizen, promising to cancel a false arrest warrant in exchange for cash.

The suspect was presented along with seized evidence to the judge of the Anbar Investigation Court Specialized in Integrity Cases, who ordered his detention pending further investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
