dijlahpoint - The Federal Integrity Commission announced the detention of three officials in the General Company for Electric Power Transmission in Maysan Governorate for their involvement in intentionally causing damage to public funds.
Investigations conducted by specialized investigation teams revealed that the defendants, who are the accounts manager, his deputy, and the payroll officer, appropriated pension deduction funds belonging to contract employees, amounting to about 390 million dinars.
The commission added that statements were documented, an official seizure report was prepared, and the defendants were presented to the competent judge who decided to detain them based on applicable legal provisions.
