dijlahpoint - The Ministry of Interior announced that organized crime combating units successfully executed qualitative operations resulting in the seizure of dozens of violating activities related to industrial and commercial fraud, and the arrest of a number of individuals involved in these illegal practices.
The ministry confirmed that the operations resulted in the seizure of large quantities of basic foodstuff materials that are expired or non-compliant with specifications, in addition to seizing counterfeit cleaning materials and preparations and cases of tampering with weights and commercial markets.
The security authorities stressed the continuation of pursuing manipulators of consumer goods and products and showing zero tolerance with anyone attempting to compromise economic security or harm the health and safety of citizens, affirming that consumer protection is a grave security and legal responsibility.
