dijlahpoint - The US Embassy in Kuwait called on its citizens today, Sunday (September 20, 2026), to exercise utmost caution amid the escalating tensions witnessed in the Middle East region.

The embassy said in a security alert that "the security environment in the region remains complex and faces possibilities of unexpected escalation, which requires American citizens to raise their level of vigilance and attention."

The embassy urged its citizens to "be alert to the possibility of sudden flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions," stressing the need to "continuously follow airport and airline updates and know flight status before heading to the airport."
