dijlahpoint - The Federal Integrity Commission called today, Sunday (September 20, 2026), for activating internal audit and oversight work in execution departments to protect public funds and combat corruption, pointing to the detection of major deficiencies in file preservation and delays in disbursing dues at the Al-Kadhimiya Execution Department.

The Commission stated in a statement that "a team from the Prevention Department, during its follow-up of the Al-Kadhimiya Execution Department, detected the deterioration of files and records and their lack of electronic archiving, which exposes them to damage or loss and creates an environment for extorting citizens and the spread of bribery," emphasizing "the necessity of comprehensive digital transformation and providing electronic payment tools."

The report addressed to the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Justice indicated "severe congestion and deficiencies in guidance boards and staff shortages, in addition to delays exceeding two months in sending employee deduction dues and children's expenses by several ministries including Defense and Karkh Third Education," calling for "strengthening staff and obliging ministries to adhere to specified disbursement deadlines."
