Warnings of a Polar Cold Wave Striking the Country and a Noticeable Drop in Temperatures

dijlahpoint - Weather and meteorological experts warned of the country being affected by a polar cold wave coming from southern Turkey starting at dawn on Monday, coinciding with the recession of rain waves in the northern and eastern regions.

Climate estimates expected a sharp drop in temperatures ranging between 6 to 7 degrees Celsius in the cities of the center, middle Euphrates, and south, with maximum daytime temperatures ranging between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius, while minimums record low levels during dawn hours ranging between 6 to 9 degrees in most regions.

The competent authorities called on citizens to make prior preparations for these cold atmospheres, prepare various heating methods, and wear appropriate winter clothing, especially with expectations of the wave's impact deepening in subsequent days.
