dijlahpoint - The Anbar Criminal Court issued a judicial ruling stipulating life imprisonment against two convicts (a man and his wife) after the confirmation of their involvement in drug trafficking and selling crimes.
Judicial sources stated that the arrest operation resulted in the possession of large quantities by the convicts, amounting to 14,000 pills of amphetamine narcotic substance for the purpose of promotion and abuse.
The ruling was issued based on the strict legal provisions in the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. (50) of 2017, in conjunction with the participation articles stipulated in the Iraqi Penal Code.
